Diegetic Sound

This is sound that the character who are in the film can hear. these are also voices that you hear in the film which the characters will hear too.

Non Diegetic Sound

This is around which is read to the audience however it is not real to the characters. this is normally used for credits to keep the audiences interested.

Ambient sound effect

the ambient sound effects are different sound effect that allows to give suspense to the film.

sound ambiguity

This is were the non diegetic sound then changes into the diegetic sound. this helps set the scene and allow an easy flow into the first scene of the film.
